Resources for Success
Resources come in various forms: physical, emotional, social. Project MARS members equip the children with all of these resources through their day-to-day service. The members link volunteers from the community with students through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Mentoring is proven to elevate the child’s socio-emotional, academic, and behavioral outcomes.
Members also organize food/clothing/school supply drives to gather physical resources for students who are in need.
Students in poverty are not broken or damaged. Human brains adapt to experiences by making changes and our students can change. Through this program we are able to provide resources to lift the whole child.
